Known as the “tourer’s touring bike,” the Harley-Davidson Road Glide has gained much popularity throughout the years due to its sharknose, frame-mounted fairing and signature dual headlight.

Now most people don’t seem to understand the change in handling.  The normal “Bat Wing” fairing is attached to the front wheel and when the wind forces push down on it, it adds weight to the front end and makes handling rather stiff.  With the Road Glide fairing attached directly to the frame, this allows the front wheel and fender assy to have a very much light feel and quicker reaction to handling chances.  The fairing is stabilized and does not move as a result of the wind forces…. Big difference here.
